Had dinner at Chuan Yi Pin Chinese restaurant wif Emilly & Florence. wah.. the spicy soupbase is really very spicy! think it wont be worth for mi to eat buffet or steamboat, coz i dun really eat seafood. So ate alot of fishball & tahu, coz there are not much variety too.. think wont be eating fishball for this few days.. Quite expensive too. $19.50/person. hence if u can eat alot, then maybe it would be worth trying..

heard from Florence that she went to Macau, then from Macau, she went to shenzhen & HongKong.. (she said it's much cheaper..) & she bought alot of bags & shoes, prices only range from $6-$10 at shen zhen!!! make mi wanted to go shen zhen too...

I'm super duber tired today!! I'm on leave today, hence I have decided to cook dinner for my family. So after going to maple in the morning, I went to buy all the ingredients. in the end I carry alot of things under a hot sun, & went home. So heavy~ cook for a few hrs, finally cook 3 dishes.. haha. but.. my rice is abit soggy.. coz i nv really cook rice b4, & I juz guess how much water will need to cook 3 cups of rice lorz.. So I guess I put too much water le.. haiz.. dunno what will be my sis's reaction if they see the rice?

Today is a good day to go zoo. haha. As compared to the last visit to zoo, I saw more animals this time round. (think bcoz the last visit was a rainy day & today is a sunny day) But didnt get to see sealion etc due to the renovation/upgrading. I really admire those animal keeper, coz they really need to feed the animal under the hot sun & have the patience to wait for the animal to finish the food. especially feeding those komodo dragon & those snakes etc. haha.

Oh finally, after calling the singnet broadband technical fault support, & with the help of that staff, my computer is good now. No more generic win 32 thing..

My first time to ten dollars karaoke club today. sang from 2pm to 7pm. Each person only need to pay $10 (that's why the name of the club is ten dollars club~). w/o extra money of GST & service charge. the chairs are very comfortable, & got free flow of drinks & each person is entitled to one bowl of shark fin (the taste is not too bad)! & there are new recent songs avaliable too. So it's quite worth it right~ coz today is a SUNDAY, but the cost is so reasonable. but the only bad thing is, it's quite difficult to book the rm. coz it's always fully booked.. muz book 2 wks to one mth in advance lorz..

yesterday went to JB & eat seafood.. the food dun really suits mi lah.. haha. coz I'm allergic to prawns, & I dun like sotong, fish or any other seafood except crab. haha. I mistake one dish for crab. In the end I found out that that dish was lobster. no wonder I feel itchness in my mouth when I eat that "crab" dish. I tot I'm allergic to crab without mi knowing it.. then realized it's lobster -.-

then today I'm quite excited de.. coz I'm going to bake cookies for my family! I did bake some, but it was quite tasteless. So I tot maybe I put too much flour le. then my sis say should put more suger. Then I realized that I forgot to put sugar!! So funny lorz.. no wonder dun have taste.. think really long time nv bake le.. so muz really practise more.. And originally I wanted to bake chocolate cookies de, but I forgot to put cocoa powder too.. so in the end I juz sprinkle some choclate chips on top lorz.. heez.. -.-

My colleague give us a treat at Sizzler. Oh my goodness~ before the main course, I have ady ate too much salad. hence in the end I'm too full to eat my main course. And somemore there are soup, fruits & ice-cream. The salad is some sort like "free flow" de, so u can eat as much as you can. haha.

I really had no idea what's the matter wif the pple nowadays. Since you like to do in this way, then I cant be bothered too. And dun always expect pple to give in to YOU lorz. And it's always the same thing happen again & again lorz. If you want to blame mi for being petty, I think the first thing you should do, is to do SELF- REFLECTION first! And can you guys juz understand that not only YOU yourself will feel tired & upset or whatever emotions u're having? We dun say it out or show it out doesnt mean we dun feel that way. Everyone has their own way of dealing stress & emotion, and I'm trying my best to help le. maybe I was not much of help, otherwise I really dunno why you are still like tat now. or maybe you juz dun appreciate what pple has done for you. Finally I bought an oven yesterday. it cost mi $118~ As it requires us to pay extra $30 more for the delivery to our house, hence we decided to carry the oven back by ourselves. My sis & I carried a 5.5 kg oven all the way from Hougang mall back home. It was so so so heavy & our arms are breaking. Anyway I can bake cookies & cakes now.. heez.. provided I still remember how to bake..

had a KTV session then watched NORBIT today.. I dun think it's tat funny lah.. but really pity Norbit.. luckily he has a good ending..

I hate it when I meet someone & the person is late. It's okay to late for 15mins but then dun exceed that lorz. If there is a valid reason, I can understand. but if there isnt any good reason for you to be late, then why should you make pple to wait for u & waste their precious time? and still dun bother to msg or call the person to inform. muz wait for mi to ask them. after going to wild wild wet yesterday, my face is "suffering" from sun-burnt now~

did blood test today. I'm perfectly normal. haha.. but it's very painful when my colleague took the blood for mi. coz my vein is fine, hence it's quite difficult to take blood. they took on my left arm, but cant draw any blood. Then they change to the right arm, & luckily got blood. So now both of my arm got small bruise. -_-

oh.. I got a wallet for our gift exchange today!! after that my colleague & I went to Out Of the Pan @ raffles city after work. the crepes portion is quite big de.. eat till very full too. We had potato salad & fruits salad after that. but think it's a little bit of expensive.. luckily my colleague has citiback credit card, & citibank has 15% discount. So in the end each of us juz need to pay $18.. but still expensive. can only eat once in a while. haha..

went to watch another movie today. The Holiday. A nice & sweet romance movie. I think it will be nice to exchange home online & then experience a different lifestyle in another country. but I din expect the show to be 135 mins long. coz normally the show will last like 90++ mins.. so by the time we finished watching the show, it's already 1220AM. so have to take cab home. I'm so blur that I realized that I only left $12 after I'm inside the cab. the uncle doesnt noe how much it will cost from PS to my home too. So, luckily it only cost $10.50 from PS to my home. otherwise I will have to ask my sis to pay for mi when I reach home or look for a nearest ATM..

last min went to watch The Curse Of The Golden Flower today.. coz PY has the free tickets for the show.. It's abit rushing, but then still managed to watch that show. well, maybe we all dunno how to appreciate Zhang Yimou's movie. some of the parts are quite confusing de, & the show is quite boring & got alot of blood scene. So in the end din really enjoy that show. PLUS, Jay Chou din appear much in the show too. If not for him, I wont be interested to watch the show too. So realistic. haha

~ watched happy feet. A very touching & great show! I'm mesmerized by their singing!
~ went to the 24 hr xin wang HK cafe today. I had cheese baked rice wif chicken chop. So cheesy & tasty! even the spagetti is nice too!
~ there are 2 attachment student attached to our lab. well, last week the gal learnt from mi & all went smoothly. haha
~ I had a hair cut. juz my fringe & 2 cm of my long hair. haha. my hair looks more healthier now.

Oh~ i went to vivo city again! It's really crowded. Then, finally, thanks to Brandon, I have the courage to sit on the cablecar! coz I always have this phobia of " fast speed". I'm not afraid of the height, but I'm scared of the speed. I will feel very very nervous when taking roller coaster ride. of coz, I'm scared of the speed of the cable car too. luckily, I think the speed is not very fast, other than when it start to go from one stop to another. But after taking the cable car, I feel there's nothing great too. maybe it's bcoz of the person I took wif. haha..

Had a busy morning. coz doing jigsaw puzzle for XH in the morning. It's her fav DBSK jigsaw puzzle. 1000 pieces de. the colour look almost the same. Hence i had a hard time trying to piece together the jigsaw puzzle.

well, shall continue when i have the time.

Then went hiking at bukit timah nature reserve. the street directory is not accurate de lorz! I took 170, & stop at the no 16 bus stop. In the end I still have to walk back the distance of 2 bus stop, then I can see the board sign "bukit timah nature reserve". that means I could have just alight at the no 14th bus stop lorz.

Anyway I saw alot of monkey when I reached there. I got abit frightened. haha.

Some of the path is quite slippery de (due to the rain). but I really hasnt walked for so long! walking up & down the stairs & steps exhausted mi! haha. But I had a great sense of satisfaction after walking for the whole journey~ feel so tired now. think i will have muscle pain tml. Lack of exercise. haiz..

I had ulcer for days ady~~ & it's getting more and more painful! I had difficulties in eating & talking. I wanted to drink hot milo during my lunch, as i tot it will be nice to have a hot drink in such a cold weather. went to kbox (again~) wif karen & SM. We are treating karen as a b'day treat, as she likes to sing. went to the chinatown branch. it's rather quiet there. like we are the only customer there. dunno izzit bcoz of the weather, or bcoz pple dun like to sing after 7pm? strange. We only sing till 11pm (supposed to be till midnight), as we had to catch the last train. We are staying in 3 different direction, hence it will be difficult for us to share the cab if we sing till midnight. & most importantly, tml still have to work. sianz~

after long consideration, i finally bought this earring stand for $28. I think the price is not-too-expensive.

after hanging the earrings, then i realized that i really have alot of earrings. haha. 3 sides of the earring stand (72 pairs of earrings) is full. wow. & i still havent finish hanging it yet. =)

attend a colleague niece's wedding in the afternoon. whenever i attend a wedding, i always feel the happiness from the couple. the wedding i attend is a malay traditional wedding. I learnt alot from the wedding ceremony. Some of the steps is quite similiar to chinese wedding. They had their solemnization yesterday, and today is the ceremony (from 11am to 5 pm). muz really thanks her for inviting mi..

I'm so so so tired today! I had a busy day today~

last night, i had to study for my advanced theory. hence i studied till 330AM. My test was scheduled in the morning 915AM. before we have a e-trial @ 815am. hence u can imagine how many hours of sleep I had. anyway i din pass my advanced theory too. haiz~

after that i had to work. Then after work, we went to a colleague's house. coz of deepavali~ so she invited us to her house. We had briyani & lotsa nice goodies at her house. haha.

After that, i had to rush from AMK to pasir ris, to attend MT's 21st b'day chalet. I guess I'm too tired. I slept in the bus, w/o knowing that i have reach my destination. luckily a nice auntie wake mi up. otherwise I wouldnt know where will I be le.. anyway i had a great time at MT's chalet too. We ate alot of nice food (still got grapes leh~) & took alot of photos.. hopefully MT had a great time today too. =)

I nearly fell down in the lab today, wif my hands holding to the rack of tubes, & few tubes dropped & serum spilled out.. aiyo. luckily there is a chair there & i grab onto the chair. otherwise it will be so embarrassing with all my colleagues around.. & my reagent is giving me headache, & the result I got is not what i expected. What a terrible day!

reformat my computer~ trying to figure out how should we reformat, as we dun have the master CD to reformat. In the end I juz chose to recover my computer. It will restore my computer to the same state as when we purchased it. All our data will be lost too. So now my computer is as good as a new one. haha.

went to JB today. Really shouldnt have go there on Sat. When we reach the custom, we were shocked to see the long queue! the queue even extended to outside of the hall ady. we waited nearly 1 hr 15 mins then can enter into Malaysia! It's very hot, and while waiting for our turns, got one auntie kept pushing us & wanted to jump queue. So irritating lorz. Can u imagine we were all queuing up & still got pple wanted to cut our queue & wanted to have their turns first? hence felt very annoyed & regret of going JB on a Sat. Anyway we went to Angsana Shopping mall & JB city square. JB city square got quite alot of stylish things & it look like S'pore shopping mall. and i think that their service standard increased alot. but i din really enjoy my trip there lah.. hopefully the next time i go there will be a fruitful trip..

Finally I'm back~~

haha.. the things there are not really expensive, especially clothing. I feel that the accessories are more expensive. I think it's bcoz the earrings in Spore are quite cheap, that's why I will naturally feel more expensive in Taiwan as compared to Spore.

And due to the typhoon, it was raining during our first 3 days there. And we were quite worried that we cant go to Hualien & Taizhong coz the typhoon is quite near to the places there. Luckily we still managed to go there.. But after the first 3 days, the weather is super hot! I still can remember the temp for one of the days is 35°C!! hence now I looked quite tanned..

Let mi count how many things I've bought.

~ 2 caps & 2 shirts (for my frenz)

wow.. I spend around $1230 on this trip! Really broke now.. but I would want to go there again! haha. The first 3 days we stay at Taipei, and after that we went to Hualien, Kou Hsiung & Tai Zhong. Actually spend around $100 on transport too. Shall upload the photos once ready. haha

I bought the Hana Yori Dango Japanese version de.. Very interesting & funny! haha. watched 6 disc yesterday in one go. The storyline is almost the same, but the pace of the show is much faster as compared to the Taiwan version. I prefer this one. one thing i dun like is the ending~ haha. Matsuda Shota is so cuteee!!

I finally booked the test for my basic theory. But like most of the date & time are fully booked. Hence we are left wif only 3 choices: 05/09, 06/09 & 08/09 (all sept!!). And the only available time slot for these 3 days are 430pm. So we booked on 08/09. Now i have around 1 & 1/2 mth to study. haha. Most of the time slot for Advanced theory are fully booked too. Diff to get a earlier date nowadays..

I always tot that travelling wif frenz would be fun. Now I realized that if our motive of going aboard is different, & only realized it 3 weeks b4 the trip, conflicts will definitely arise. really dunno will it be better if I go alone instead? maybe my motive of going Taiwan is too shallow. juz wanna shopping. unlike my friend, she wants to look around Taiwan, not only Taipei, but also other parts of taiwan too. 7 days is a short period. & Taipei is a big place, so 7 days might not be enough too. And I'm not willing to pay for all excess transport fee & waste time travelling to other parts of taiwan. I mean like who would want to spend around $200++ on transport ONLY? and we still have to minus the hotel fee & other misc expenses leh. My friend doesnt mind paying more, as long as she can benefit from the trip. Then in this case I think I wont have much cash left for shopping lorz. aiya. dunno now how lah. so frustrating lah.

meet up wif karen & siew moi. we had sushi again~ haha. Miss Karen Teo is going back to Aust on last wk of July. so think muz meet up wif her more often during this period of time, or else dunno when will I be able to see her again.

I heard something interesting today. There is a difference between Ms & Miss. For young & single ladies, we will address them as "Miss XXX". For single woman (dunno above what age group de), we will address them as "Ms XXX". Oh. I din noe abt it.

Joanna & I went to Phoon Huat Baking Skill development centre (near Aljunied MRT there) to learn baking. At the end of the lesson, we are supposed to bake 2 cakes - Pear Cheese cake with oreo biscuit base & Semolina and walnut cake. It cost mi $32 per lesson. As this is my first time there, & her 2nd time there, we managed to bake the cake with the help of the master & the aunties there ( they are ALL regular customer). haha

The Pear Cheese cake with oreo biscuit base is more unique as it has 4 layer. The base is oreo, followed by chocolate; then pear & the top layer is the pear prune + gelatine. Like those cakes selling in bakery right? Have to do some decoration with fruits, fudge & whipped cream, then it will look even nicer. I think it's difficult for us to absorb what we had learn there, as most of the impt steps is done by the machine and the pace is quite fast de (coz most of the "students" is experienced in baking cakes liao). But the master is indeed skillful. haha. We still have Certificate of Participation.

And today is my first time riding a bike. As we knocked off at 630pm, & we have to reach there by 645pm, hence no choice but to ride bike there. There were 2 kind souls there offered us the ride. And I think it's very scary, especially when they turned. I'm very nervous & not used to it, hence I hold that person's shoulder till very very tightly. And that person had difficulties in turning. haha. So funny lorz.. And the helmet is so heavy & stuffy. I guess this might be the first & last time taking ride in bike. haha. what an unforgetable experience. -.-

I have bought a book - lonely planet Taiwan. I heard that this book is quite good as it has 78 detailed maps, recommendation of hotel, info about the transport & opening hrs of the shop etc. But it cost mi $39.60 (even after 10% discount). Actually if I'm going to Taipei only, then I might not need this book lah. But we are planning to go northern and western Taiwan like Kou Hsiung & Alishan, so hope this book is really useful for my Taiwan trip in Aug. I'm going to look thru it now.. heez..

My first time watching a concert @ Drama centre theatre. It's a concert by Singapore Men's Chorus (SMC) - Love's journey, an international tour of songs about relationships in all their stages.. I like their style of A cappella, the way they arrange their song to be & their voice. And I'm surprised that one of the 18 quarter-finalist band in Superband, Yuan Sheng Dai, is also the member of SMC. The songs that they sang includes: As time goes by, qing shu, Vive L'amour, A,you're adorable and superwoman etc. muz thank Ms PY for wanting to watch this concert. haha. It is an eye-opening experience for mi as this is my first time I have seen guys that sings that well.

This is also my first time stepping into the national library ever since the library undergo renovation. It really look like a maze. haha. today then I noe that it's actually near Bugis. and it's VERY near. -.-
